Event Schedule

5:30 PM — Doors Open & Check-In Begins

Guests may check in, register for bidding, and begin exploring the venue. This is also when food becomes available.

Guests are welcome to:

Visit sponsor tables
Browse silent auction items
Purchase raffle tickets
Enjoy time with fellow attendees before the program begins

Food Option for General Admission Guests
A pork BBQ sandwich and chips will be available for purchase for $15.

Guests are also welcome to bring their own cooler with food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks.

6:30 PM — Program Begins

The evening program will begin and will include:

Opening remarks
Guest speakers
Live music and entertainment
Silent auction
Raffles
Live auction

Comfortable country casual attire is encouraged. Jeans, boots, and relaxed attire are perfectly appropriate for the venue.

About Us

Honoring Our Heroes is our first annual fundraising event supporting and honoring our wounded veterans. Held at Briarpatch Farm (725 Pea Ridge Road, Eatonton, GA), this evening brings our community together for fellowship, dinner, and meaningful fundraising through silent and live auctions, raffles, and donations.

This annual fundraiser is hosted by the Georgia Chapter of Safari Club International (SCI) and the Lake Oconee Elks Lodge #2849—two organizations known for strong community involvement and service-minded missions.

The Georgia Chapter of SCI is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, volunteer-based organization dedicated to promoting and protecting our hunting heritage through education, conservation, and humanitarian efforts. Founded in 1981, the Georgia Chapter is one of the oldest SCI chapters in the world, and much of its focus centers around hosting events and initiatives that create an inviting environment for fellowship and fun for all.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE) is a fraternal organization founded on the virtues of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity, with a long-standing commitment to strengthening communities and supporting veterans. The Lake Oconee Elks Lodge #2849 serves the Lake Oconee area from Eatonton, GA and is actively engaged in local community and veterans-focused outreach.
